One more thing about doing yoga

One more benefit of doing yoga, first thing in the morning is that it lets me think about my body, health and wellbeing.

I get to concentrate on my body, the different parts. I get to tell them all, and in unison, that I love them/it. I get to thank them/it for all that they do.

These past couple of weeks I was not able to do that. We were sick, recuperating. I was feeling irritated and had less trust, hope and good feelings about my body and my self.

You don’t even realise these things when they are not there. But they are at the back of your head, eating away at you.

I’m back doing yoga now, and I felt some semblance of hope and good feelings yesterday as I did yoga. More so today.
